What is the Convene System?
The Convene system is Wuthering Waves' gacha system where you can summon characters or weapons using Astrite or Tides through banners.
The system uses a pity mechanism to guarantee players a rare reward after a certain number of pulls.
This system ensures that players, even with bad luck, can eventually obtain their desired items.

What is Pity?
Hard Pity: Guaranteed 5★ item after 80 pulls.
This applies to both Resonators and weapons and is designed to compensate for bad RNG for players.
Pity is a safety mechanism that ensures you can't have infinite bad luck.
Soft Pity Explained
Starting from around pull 50, the chance of getting a 5★ item begins to increase.
From pull 64, the chance increases by about 6% per pull, up to 100% at pull 80.
It's recommended to use single pulls after soft pity for optimal efficiency.
50/50 Mechanism
On your first 5★ pull, you have a 50% chance of getting the featured Resonator and 50% chance of getting a standard 5★.
If you lose the 50/50, your next 5★ is guaranteed to be the featured Resonator.
This system only applies to Resonator banners, not weapon banners.
Banner Types
There are different types of banners in Wuthering Waves, each with their own rules and guarantees:

Each banner type has its own pity counter and rules.
Pity Transfer
Pity is tracked separately per banner type.
When a banner expires and a new one of the same type appears (e.g., two limited character banners), your pity progress is maintained.
This means you don't have to start over when a banner expires.
Drop Rates
The base drop rates for items in the Convene system are as follows:
